    • Be able to define these terms: 
      • Aperture
      • Shutter speed
      • Exposure
      • Exposure Compensation
      • Metering
    • Identify basic components of a camera
    • Compose photos using exposure compensation and the Rule of Thirds
    • Edit photos

    Standards

    • Use a variety of media and formats to design, develop, publish, and present projects (e.g., newsletters, web sites, presentations, photo galleries)
    • Apply advanced software features to redesign the appearance of word processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations 
    • Analyze the capabilities and limitations of digital resources and evaluate their potential to address personal, social, lifelong learning, and career needs
    • Identify common graphic, audio, and video file formats (e.g., jpeg, gif, bmp, mpeg, wav, wmv, mp3, flv, avi, pdf) 
    • Demonstrate how to import/export text, graphics, or audio files

Tuesday

  • Notes: Techniques for taking more interesting photos
  • Assignment: Take a bunch of photos. Intentionally try to use at least four of the techniques discussed in class. Submit one good example of each of four techniques in a slideshow. Turn it in on Google Classroom.

        • The stock photo app on LG phones has manual controls built in
